DESIGN INSPO:
‘COLOURS AND CRAFTS’
Put on your best shoes and bring an open mind – it’s time to soak up some fresh design inspiration. Be sure to stop by Bredgade 22 and see the installations we’ve done for Stilling who exhibits at 3daysofdesign.
COLOURS AND CRAFTS. STILLING + KURAGE
At Bredgade 22, you can explore an immersive display of vibrant textiles from floor to ceiling. ‘Colours and Crafts’ is the world’s first exhibition centred around curtain rods and drapery. Get ready to be inspired and have your whole perception of curtains turned upside down.
The exhibition is organised by Stilling with the owner of PR agency Réplique, Jacob Hundborg, as idea creator.
“Not long ago, curtains were merely functional, chosen to match the wall colour, with curtain rods kept as neutral as possible. Our exhibition, ‘Colours and Crafts,’ is revolutionising this perception. Here, you’ll discover possibilities you never imagined: curtains draped like waves across ceilings, multi-layered designs, and curtain rods in striking colours with unique finials. This experience leaves you feeling as though you’ve entered an entirely new world of curtain design,” reveals Jakob Hundborg.

COLOURFUL INTERIOR DESIGN.
NADIA OLIVE SCHNACK
None other than the renowned interior designer Nadia Olive Schnack, has curated the ‘Colours and Craft’ exhibition. Aiming to inspire and also provoke a bit, Nadia presents three, vibrant alternatives to the mundane palette of white, grey, and black. The new alternative colours are:
- Dutch White – a soft, light blue hue that evokes serenity and tranquillity.
- Comice – a vibrant green hue, offering a fresh and energetic aesthetic.
- Avalon – a deep, rich blue hue that exudes sophistication and elegance.
Selected KURAGE textiles are elegantly displayed on ceiling and window rails, from where they show bold and contrasting colours. The exhibition also highlights exquisite design pieces from SkLO (lighting), Ege (carpets), and Gurli Elbækgaard (ceramics).
COLOUR TALK. EVERY DAY AT 3 PM
Join Nadia Olive Schnack for an inspiring Colour Talk every day at 3 PM on the 12th, 13th and 14th of June. Nadia will talk you through her vision for the exhibition and share her best tips for creating a vibrant and dynamic decor using colourful, flowing textiles and natural, sustainable materials.
During your visit, you’re also invited to fill a goodie bag with samples from the participating brands, so you can bring home new textures and colours for your future design projects.
