Meet Sara Garanty
Sara doesn’t decorate with colour. She works with it. Not just the visible layer of space, but the emotional undercurrent too. The quiet force that shapes how we feel, think, and connect.
As a stylist and colour psychologist, Sara teaches colour theory to architects and designers, guiding through the subtle psychology of hue. How colour affects our behaviour and perception. How it becomes the bridge between the outer world we inhabit and the inner world we carry with us.
Her Stockholm flat is where theory comes alive. Where ideas move off the page and onto walls, floors, ceilings. Each room is saturated with colour, from skirting board to ceiling, painted in carefully composed palettes. Nothing here is accidental. Every shade has intent. Every pairing opens a new potential.
Curtains, too, play a part. In the bedroom, the new Rustica Dense and Rustica Light in green filter the light, softening the room into a place of rest. In the hall, the deep, resonant blue jacquard-woven ARTY grounds both space and mind. That’s the power of colour.
